E.ON inhouse Consulting (ECON) is the internal management consultancy of the E.ON Group, headquartered in Essen. With around 100 consultants, it is one of the leading internal management consulting companies in Europe and is the preferred strategy and implementation partner for E.ON management.
The key challenge solved in Vertec is staffing. This means assigning suitable employees to projects based on project requirements such as availability or employee preferences. The management is satisfied with the following:

Due to the adaptability and flexibility of Vertec, the decision was made to replace the existing business software with Vertec. The aim of the change was to map all the key value-added processes of the organization within Vertec. Although Vertec has only been in use at ECON since spring 2021, the CRM and ERP software is already enjoying a high level of acceptance among the workforce: Essential processes such as service entry, project accounting and staffing are available in just one system and the employees are actively involved in the further development of the system.

Given the given size of the company and its business activity, many business trips occur as expected. Vertec also supports this. Under the working title “Paperless travel expenses”, ECON is striving not only to optimize travel expense reports, but also to digitize them. Employee enters travel expenses and individual receipts directly in Vertec or with the Vertec Phone App . The management and audit of this expense shall be assisted by the Plug-in travel costs en , which extends the basic functionality of Vertec free of charge.
a key element of the ECON culture is the continuous development of employees through systematic feedback. Feedback and performance evaluation are based on reciprocity. Employee receives evaluations, but supervisors can also give development feedback on development in the form of so-called upward feedback.
Both are implemented in Vertec through free text and predefined selection fields.
