Why were you looking for a new business software?

We were looking for a new software because we had been using the previous solution for 25 years and needed a more modern software. The previous developer did not want to develop the software further.

What makes Vertec different from other solutions?

a big difference was that they recognized our need: We wanted to track time and time at the same time. We looked at different solutions and many competitors do not offer a solution for tracking time and time. That is certainly the argument for Vertec and at the same time that they offer their product at a fair price.

In which areas has Vertec made your daily work easier?

This is especially the invoicing process, where you had to go through a long process with different media breaks with the old software. Now everything is much easier. The project leader can adjust the services himself, and then the invoice can be sent.

Vertec is very customizable. What should you look out for?

I find it very important that you have a good project management – an internal project management that takes care of the whole project and has the know-how. I would never give that to the outside. It is very important that you have someone who is competent and has good project management.

What distinguishes the cooperation with Vertec and Lean Business?

We worked together with Patrick Buchegger – a very competent employee and project leader on the Lean Business side. From the very first meeting, I felt that he immediately entered our business and processes correctly. And that is very, very important for us, so that the project can be successfully implemented.

Can you identify a quantifiable benefit from Vertec?

It really is the case that various processes have become shorter. I am thinking in particular of the approval of services, which used to be very manual. Today, supervisors can approve services at the end of the month with a mouse click and then initiate the next steps for invoicing.

Was there a wow moment in dealing with Vertec?

Personally, I use my mobile phone to record expenses. In the past, you simply had a posting that you carried with you for three weeks until you could hand it in to the accounting department. Today, I photograph the posting with my mobile phone, then the expenses are entered immediately and it is completed.
