Prior to the implementation of Vertec, FORTIS used different software solutions for its various processes, some of which were not linked to each other. With three locations in Hamburg, Wolfsburg and Bielefeld, FORTIS also faces the challenge of managing all data regardless of location. A consistent software solution that bundles all data and documents while optimizing internal processes: That was the requirement for the implementation of the new software.

In Vertec, our own employees are created as “users” and, if necessary, linked to personal addresses. Here, FORTIS has taken advantage of Vertec’s flexibility and added its own requirements. Individual parameters and corresponding fields have been added to the employee’s root data.
Other special features of the Vertec installation include the approval of registered services via users and team controllers as well as the mapping of the company’s internal flat hierarchies. FORTIS deliberately narrowed down the menu tree to include only the features that are really relevant for standard users. Customer inquiries are entered as sales opportunities and displayed in Vertec as activities. Evaluation per location or team forms the basis for an improved estimation of the total volume of all active sales opportunities. In addition to the individual cancellation process, the implementation of framework agreements as rate levels and their maintenance via the rate table was also implemented.
The use of Vertec has thus ensured FORTIS even more speed and flexibility. With this, the company follows its basic attitude of continuously developing and optimizing processes even when implementation of the internal software solution.
