BI Financial KPIs

BI generator for the presentation of basic financial indicators for different user groups.

When you import this config set, the Controlling BI root folder is created (unless it already exists via the config set Controlling and BI root folder). This contains the Financial KPI subfolder. The folder should update all target groups on their orders, turnover and costs, as well as provide an overview of the accounts receivable. In addition, the measures can be viewed from different perspectives, such as by projects, project types, and customers.

To access the folder, the users must be assigned to the Folder access Controlling and BI user group.

This application is an additional feature. The corresponding config set can be found here.

Application

The config set creates the Financial KPI subfolder in the Controlling and BI root folder with the following three subfolders: Order intake and backlog, Turnover and cost, and Invoices.

Order intake and backlog

In this folder, the incoming orders and the order backlog are shown. The order backlog represents the budget values of the accepted project phases, which can be changed once during the month or tracked continuously.

To track the budget, you must first check the option Track budget value changes on phase under Settings > System settings > Project. The KPI is only taken into account in the evaluation when the start and end date are entered and the status is set to accept.

The order intake represents the orders that have been received, invoiced and charged already.

The order intake and backlog can also be shown separately in two other views.

Note: In this BI view, only the budget values for phases are taken into account and not those for the project.

Turnover and cost

This folder shows the measures for current business, such as the turnover of services, expenses and outlays, the cost and the contribution margin. These can be further classified by projects, project types and customers.

Invoices

In this folder, the measures related to open and paid invoices as well as external fees written off are shown. The invoices can also be presented from different perspectives. For example, they can be classified by projects, project type and by customers. In addition, the measure collection period is displayed, which can also be classified by customers.
