Vertec version 6.5 released

With 6.5, the latest Vertec version is now available. With this major version, the CRM and ERP software gets an additional app: the Vertec Outlook App. In the technical area, the switch to Unicode will take place. With the opportunities, a useful feature for sales teams will be added at the feature level. In addition to these highlights, the new version offers numerous improvements, which are described in the detailed Release Notes. The English version of the release notes will be published at the end of September 2021.

Vertec Outlook App

The new Vertec Outlook App offers a much deeper integration compared to the Vertec Outlook add-in – both in the Outlook Web version and in the Outlook Windows application. Let the latest activities of contacts that are present in your Vertec directly in Outlook. It does not matter by whom and in which app these activities were entered. All activities can now be shown in Outlook at any time.

Enter new activities directly within Outlook. If your contact person does not yet have a Vertec entry in the email conversation, it can be created in Outlook. A switch to Vertec is not necessary. Calendar Entries can now also be made directly to services in Vertec.

The activity list has also been refreshed within Vertec. With helpful icons, the different activity types can be visually entered quickly.

Opportunities introduce an important CRM feature into the Vertec core product. Sale processes have been greatly digitized and professionalized in recent years. In order to meet these developments in Vertec, version 6.5 enables the mapping of opportunities.

The opportunity represents a sales opportunity and allows an overview of the current status of the planned sale at any time, including probability, amount and date of the planned closingopportunities Opportunity can be entered for each address in Vertec.

The entering of opportunities is also possible without creating a project and thus closes the gap between the first contact with a potential customer and the entering of a project.

Unicode

The changeover to Unicode is relevant for all companies that rely on symbols from various sign systems for their communication.
