Why were you looking for a new business software?

Quite simply, we had none at the time, unless we included Word and Excel. That is what we used to work with before and with accounting. Then we evaluated and quickly came to Vertec. The price-performance ratio is excellent. It looked very good back then, was user-friendly and covered everything we needed. It also had the necessary flexibility, so it fit.

What makes Vertec different from other solutions?

It’s the solution that’s right for our company size. There are few things that you don’t need, but you pay for – and it’s not too rigid, so you have to adapt to the ERP solution instead of the other way around. It just fits perfectly.

In which areas has Vertec made your daily work easier?

This started in many areas – from project kickoff to project management, time tracking and invoicing. When we switched to e-invoice, the ease was even greater than before. Then also in Resource Planning and measures. All around Vertec is very customizable.

Vertec is actually very customizable. What should you look out for?

In order to ensure that adaptability does not become dangerous, we must think in advance about what exactly we need. If we adapt it too often, it will not be economical. We must also always train HR. That is why we must think carefully about what we need in the coming months and make these adjustments in a targeted manner.

What distinguishes the cooperation with Vertec and Spektra Netcom?

We have been working with Spektra Netcom and the Vertec product for 20 years – and we are very satisfied. It is very flexible: whenever we need something, we get it and also on time. We are addressed. Spektra knows us and our needs in engineering very well after 20 years.

Can you identify a quantifiable benefit from using Vertec?

This was a big leap in the implementation. We were able to significantly reduce the administrative work, as this was previously very complicated with Excel and manual transfer to accounting. With the last digitization steps thanks to Vertec, we have saved further capacities.

Was there a wow moment in dealing with Vertec?

Yes, there were several, the first was during the implementation. That was a real quantum leap for us and our employees. It was very helpful that Vertec is intuitive to use. Furthermore, the digitization of invoicing and also of invoicing has taken invoicing to a new level, especially for our technicians who do not like to do administrative work. And the last big step was the digitalization of expenses via the mobile solution with Vertec. This is another wow effect, also for employees – with a certain risk that they prefer to enter expenses.
