Activate opportunities

This additional feature creates link types and folders for the use of opportunities.

Opportunities can be entered, managed and evaluated in Vertec. Opportunities make it possible to present a lightweight sales process in Vertec. You can review your current open sales opportunities, can search for opportunities and determine from which closed opportunities led to a project. In an evaluation, you can also see the expected turnover per seller over the course of the year.

Application

In order to work with opportunities, the required link types are activated when importing this config set and the following folders are created:

The folder shows an overview of the current status of open opportunities:

It is possible to filter by customers and sellers and the probability of project entry is shown graphically.

The weighted amount is determined by this formula:

Gewichteter Betrag = Betrag x Wahrscheinlichkeit

and thus provides an order of magnitude for the expected average turnover.

Opportunity search

In this folder you can filter by date, seller, status and probability or search for specific customers.

Closed opportunities

This folder contains all inactive opportunities. They can be filtered by date, salesperson and status. The list shows from which opportunities a project was created.

Controlling

This folder contains an annual overview of the planned closures of the opportunities classified by sellers.

Each month, the sum of the amounts of the sellers' opportunities is shown that are planned completion in the respective month. Opportunities that are not scheduled to close will not be included.

If the checkbox Gewichteter Betrag is activated, instead of the sum of the amounts, the sum of the weighted amounts is shown. The weighted amounts are calculated by multiplying the amount and the probability. The Probability value specified on the opportunity is used.
