The engineers from JAUSLIN STEBLER are often on hand when large construction machinery comes out in Switzerland. This was just as true for the construction of the modern high-performance A22 road between Pratteln and Liestal as it was for major railway projects or new superstructures in Zurich or St. Gallen.
Perfect project management is essential for such large-scale projects. JAUSLIN STEBLER uses Vertec’s performance software for this purpose. Vertec is not only used at the head office, but also at its partners and subsidiaries, which work closely together on a project-related basis but are legally independent.
Vertec serves the partner company as a joint solution for project management and service entry. “Vertec is our central information hub, where all dossiers, offers, contracts, reports and invoices are stored,” says Thomas Meier, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at JAUSLIN STEBLER. The joint management system is linked to the individual accounting systems of the partner companies. “Vertec is ideally suited to the legal structure of our group,invoice says CFO Meier. An internal service accounting created specifically for the group and easily retrievable information on the degree of completion significantly increase the transparency of cost accounting within the group.
With Vertec, JAUSLIN STEBLER has a tool that can be applied equally to all orders, from the planning of a motorway tunnel to the construction of a single-family house. “This makes a decisive contribution to our ability to manage our projects efficiently and to know where we stand at all times,” says CFO Meier. For new projects, Vertec can be adapted to the respective project architecture with little hour. This means that JAUSLIN STEBLER and its partners are also equipped for future large-scale projects.
