It differs above all in its flexibility and adaptability to changing business requirements and processes. I can say that I have introduced Vertec for the second time – I was allowed to introduce it once in 2001. And I am still thrilled that it really is a great piece of software. We look forward to expanding it further, and are still working on the evaluations to complete them further. The acceptance in the team is very good, I have to say.
I have the feeling that the project manager at Vertec exactly knows what we are doing. That is always a very good prerequisite. It is a very pleasant collaboration. I am also looking forward to further advancing in future developments.
Especially in the area of time tracking. This consistency – from time tracking to invoicing to CRM – is great. You can also integrate all the activities and sales. In the old company, everything was distributed in different systems, and with the start-up we were allowed to do this year, we had the chance to start on a greenfield with a modern tool.
What people love most is the expense recording via the app: you can simply photograph and enter the posting – great. Unfortunately, because of the VAT audit, we still have to physically submit it for the fiduciary, but people really love that!
As an engineering firm, we are not faced with margins of 35 or 20 per cent, but rather talk about 3 to 5 per cent. It is very important that we have transparent in the projects, that we know what costs have been incurred, what the budget is and what is still available. This transparent that Vertec offers us is the greatest support for us.
I think it’s the expandability. I don’t see the one feature that’s the most powerful, but the knowledge that as an engineering firm, you can’t do anything wrong when you rely on Vertec. I’m really not afraid that in five or ten years’ time we’re going to run up against a wall and say it was the wrong decision. I’m convinced that the software will continue to evolve in the future and that there will be the possibility of configuring additional things and reacting to the future.
Cool company! I am looking forward to working with you again after more than 20 years – back then I had a bit more hair on my head. It’s a great company with very nice people.
