How this feature creates benefits
This feature allows you to systematically charge for internal services, expenses and outlays without a pro forma invoice or other detours. It is aimed at companies that manage internal projects and want to accurately reflect their hours in cost accounting.
The feature is therefore particularly useful for service providers with internal projects, such as training, internal development, or administrative expenses. Automatic charging creates transparency about services rendered internally, enabling better management of resources and a more informed business evaluation.
How it works
The additional feature is integrated via a script and allows the charging of internal services, expenses and outlays.
- Direct call via button on single or multiple projects
- Precise definition of date ranges in order to charge specific entries
- If entries are not yet on an invoice, an charging can be reversed

Is Vertec a suitable billing software for service providers?
Yes, because Vertec has been developed specifically for service providers. When invoicing, you can still edit the services to be invoiced, and you can invoice both at fixed prices and depending on expenditure (hours and material). Of course, you can also invoice travel expenses and other expenses, too.
Can invoices of suppliers be charged on to several customers or projects?
Yes, you can decide whether the invoice is either charged or forwarded directly.
How about the expected chargeability?
After the onboarding period, we expect working hours to be a billed at a rate of 60 %. This means that the project manager works 100 % of his time on customer projects for 3 out of 5 days and can charge their hours to the customer.
There are also project managers with a billing rate of up to 80 %. However, this requires a lot of experience and the handling of rather large customer projects. The remaining 40 % is used for own planning and preparation as well as for internal projects, meetings and tasks.
