Address verification (Germany)

This application is an Additional Feature. The corresponding config set can be found here.

Prerequisites

Current, the additional feature offers two integrations: to the Legalian Platform and to Company.info. The two service providers currently only support current address reviews in Germany.

To work with this, a contract with one of these providers is required. The login data must be stored in the system settings in the tab Address.  

Company.info only needs one API-Key, while at Legalian API-Key, Benutzername and Passwort must be registered.

Application

After importing the additional feature, the Address Checks subfolder is located in the CRM root folder under Companies.

First you have to click on the button Suchen the address search can be triggered (1) – with or without filtering by name and/or country and/or advisor. The check can then be performed either on the entire list via Actions Menu (2) or on a single entry (in a single window or in the list) via button Adresse prüfen(3) are triggered:

For users to be able to trigger the check, they must be User Group to at least the Address Administrators assigned. Assigning allows them to check individual addresses. To perform the check on the list, the assignment to the Folder Access CRM user group is also required.

The following address data are retrieved or checked: name, address (street and house number), postal code, city, country and commercial register number. Company.info also checks telephone number, e-mail address and homepage, whereby the search returns a maximum of 20 entries and only German Registers are searched (other countries are not taken into account).

After the check, a corresponding status is set in the list for each address:

For example, if all data match, the company receives the status Alle Daten aktuell or if deviations have been detected, the status will be Detailprüfung notwendig The editor user can see the differences and decide which data should be adoptedApply The color differentiation of the status provides a quick overview of the results and which addresses require additional checks. By setting the status Von der Adressprüfung ausschliessen Addresses can be manually excluded from the address check.

After completion of further identification or verification of duplicates, the status can be adjusted manually or the checkbox  Dublette akzeptieren which excludes the entry from future duplicate checks. This may be desirable, for example, if a company has several company addresses and these are kept as separate entries.

The results and changes are automatically saved so that the selection does not have to be repeated in future tests. Adressprüfung zurücksetzen in the Actions Menu the statuses can be deleted in order to be able to trigger a new search.

Special features of address verification

• Street names: The following variants are treated as equivalent: street, street, street, street, street, str., str.
• Countries: The comparison is made using the ISO2 code (e.g. DE), i.e. “Deutschland,” “Germany” or “DE” are treated equally.
• Phone numbers: Numbers are considered identical if all digits are equal. Formatting (spaces, etc.) is ignored. A leading “+” is interpreted as “00”.

Planned task

For the regular implementation of the address check, the planned task is Adressprüfung which can be activated in the settings. It is disabled by default and can activate settings in the settings. Caution: The automated and therefore more frequent checking may result in additional costs for the service provider used.
