1. How does an optimal holiday planning look like?

Lack of transparent in the management and planning of leave by companies is a common problem. Employees themselves often do not know exactly how many days of leave they have left in the current calendar year and when their colleagues will be on leave. In many companies, individual leave requests are still made manually on paper. This paper is often signed by a representative, the supervisor and even the managing Director. Only then is the employee’s leave approved. A great deal of time, which at the same time entails a high potential for errors.

The optimal processing of holiday requests looks different! In Vertec you can easily manage your holidays yourself, enter them and send them to your responsible for digital approval. To do this, simply enter your planned holiday under “Absences”.

Your supervisor can quickly see whether or not other colleagues are already on holiday during this period. At this point, he or she has the opportunity to add a remark and can therefore give you feedback quickly and easily.

Use the Vertec Resource Planning module: This gives you the opportunity to plan your resources and assign them to individual projects. The available time is calculated from your Standard Hours and the planned absences during this period. This gives you a useful overview of all resources for your entire company.
