The Vertec User Conference 2022

The outlook for Vertec 6.6 with its new edition of Resource Planning, the panel discussion and the personal exchange with our customers made the User Conference a complete success.

150 participants gathered at the SIX ConventionPoint in Zurich on 15 September 2022. In the modern venue, the auditorium with its video screen was a direct eye-catcher.

1. The highlights of Vertec 6.6

Shortly after 2 p.m. Urban Busslinger, Development Manager at Vertec, will take the stage shortly after 2 p.m. to present the highlights of the next Vertec major version 6.6.

At its core is a completely revamped and cloud ready Resource Planning. Adaptability is significantly increased, and it is now possible to plan on skills, competencies or features. A major benefit is the visualization: utilization and capacity diagrams can be shown directly in Vertec.

Customizable notifications are another new feature. When Vertec is started up, they inform you about activities such as calls or emails. Urban will show live at the User Conference conference what all this looks like in the software, as well as the advanced list settings.

2. Panel discussion with Vertec customers

How do customer requirements get into Vertec software?

As a customer, you can significantly participate in the development of Vertec with your wishes. Customers from different industries report on their ideas and requirements during the panel discussion.

Vertec is “near” to its customers, the constant exchange is very important for the further continuous improvement of the software. Vertec can be reached and influenced on various channels. These include direct exchange at the User Conference conference, the Vertec Forum, the customer satisfaction survey and, above all, customer conversations with support, project management and sales.

Werner Bachmann, partner at the law Law firm friedrich graf von westphalen, is not satisfied with the standard solutions on the market and therefore relies on Vertec.

However, “functional graveyards” should also be avoided here in order to keep the software performing.

For Hans Jakob Becker, Head of Project Management at Vertec, it is essential that Vertec project managers know the processes of their customers and also have a direct contact person.

3. Roadmap and Internationalization

Claudio Pietra, Managing Director and Head of product management at Vertec group, together with Samuel Iseli, Research and Architecture Manager, looks ahead and presents the new roadmap.

Together with the further continuous improvement of the additional features and the Outlook App, the extended connection of DMS and telephony is on the agenda.

The future of Vertec is international. In the coming years, we will intensify our activities to expand in Europe. This will be accompanied by the translation of the software into English, which has already begun.
