Vertec Apps at a Glance

Vertec offers a comprehensive app landscape that can be used across different operating scenarios (Cloud Suite or On-Premises).

  • Cloud App and Web App: Both are considered full-featured cloud clients. The business logic runs on the server side, while the apps only represent the interface and user input. This allows for high performance, ease of use over the Internet, and automation for customization.

  • Phone App: This app enables mobile use of Vertec – for example, to enter services and expenses, to get a daily overview of services recorded, and to use contact details or address entries directly on location.

Use Vertec wherever you work: in the office, at the customer’s premises or on the road. With the mobile apps, you have flexible access to your projects, services, contacts and evaluations – regardless of location or device.

Phone App for on the go

The Vertec Phone App is specially optimized for mobile use. It enables quick and easy data management on location, e.g. right after a customer appointment.

The Vertec Phone App automatically detects new records and sends them to Vertec. With the free Vertec Phone App (for iOS and Android), you can simply take a picture of your expenses and upload them to Vertec.

The connected AI service automatically detects all relevant data such as company, amount, currency, description and the correct VAT rate. This information is saved directly in Vertec. Typical pictures are detected with high accuracy by the system, even handwritten expense receipts provide appealing results.

Frequently asked questions

Vertec brings all the features for a structured management of a customer database. However, the business software for service providers can manage much more than contact details and customer addresses: Maintain customer relationships and appointments, create offers that are closely linked to your project planning and use sales pipelines to increase your sales. With full text search, content stored in Vertec, including emails, can be searched by any authorized person. A complete overview is available on the feature page.

​From service and expense recording to post-calculation, costing and controlling: With Vertec you are optimally positioned as a project- or mandate-oriented service company. With the Business Intelligence module, you can even visualize data directly in the Vertec interface.

Vertec Cloud App

For location-independent work on Windows devices. The Vertec Cloud App is a Cloud Client. So just as the Web App and the Phone App, it does not need a LAN connection to the database server. The Cloud App has local access to the file system for storing reports and offers various extensions. The Cloud App is a «full-featured» client.

Vertec Web App

For location-independent work in your browser, also for use on a Mac. Because the Web App runs in every browser without any additional installation or plug-ins, it has no access to local resources such as a file system. Generated reports are offered via download. From what Vertec itself is concerned, the range of features remains the same as when using the Cloud App. The Web App is a «full-featured» client.

Vertec Phone App

To enter services, expenses or absences on the go, access addresses or view documents. In addition, you can enter and delegate tasks. The Phone App is therefore a “specialized” client. It is available for download in the App Store and from Google Play.

Vertec Outlook App

The Vertec Outlook app makes Vertec information available directly in Outlook. Matching the sender of incoming emails, the app displays the activity feed directly in Outlook. Incoming emails can be saved in Vertec using the app. For outgoing emails, Outlook can access Vertec contact information. Calendar entries can be entered in Vertec as a service using the Outlook app.

No, they are very flexible in the use of the different apps. Each employee can practically choose which app he or she wants to use. It does make sense though to use the Desktop App or Cloud App in the office, while using the Web App on the laptop on the go. Alternatively, the Phone App for Android and iOS can be used on mobile devices.

An email is saved as an activity in Vertec directly from Outlook and thus can be made visible to anyone, provided the required user rights are granted. Activities can also be recorded on the go using the Vertec Phone App, while email conversations can easily be saved with Vertec Outlook App.
