Full-text search enables efficient retrieval of relevant information in Vertec. Not only lawyers that use Vertec as a software for law firms appreciate full-text search. Basically all users benefit from fast search and reduced search effort. Vertec full-text search also includes external content such as emails, their attachments and documents in the search process.
Full-text search has been available since Vertec version 6.8. Indexing runs automatically in the background and ensures that search results are available quickly and reliably, so you have all the information you are looking for fast on hand.

How it works
- Initial indexing when Vertec is started and automatic indexing when files are changed, deleted or created
- No additional configuration in the Vertec Cloud App and the Web App required
- Weekly, automatic re-indexing by Vertec with option for individual configuration by admin
- User rights are considered: Content for which a user does not have access rights will not appear in search results. Access rights for documents and emails are also checked accordingly

All generated documents are automatically saved to the defined location. External documents can be easily linked and saved in Vertec. You assign them directly to a project or a contact, and then Vertec copies the documents to the location. After that, you can open the documents in Vertec at any time.
What options for storing documents does Vertec offer?
Documents created in Vertec, such as invoices or offers, can be saved as a PDF, Word, Excel or CSV file. If required, you can also set up other file formats.
