Cases receive the page Mandatseröffnung mit Konfliktcheck. After the assignment of counterparties, the conflict check is carried out according to predetermined criteria. The results are listed both on a page and in a separate subfolder and differentiated by colour.

This application is an Additional Feature. The corresponding config set can be found here.

Application

By importing the config set, a page Mandate opening with conflict check appears on the case. On this page, counterparties can be entered, interweaving and interweaving of the opposing party can be defined and a conflict check can be performed.

Perform conflict check

When opening a mandate, go to the Mandate Opening with Conflict Check page:

Arrange one or more Gegenparteien and click on the button Neuer Konfliktcheck. This creates the Conflict Check subfolder:

When carrying out the conflict check, the following addresses of the case shall be taken into account:

  • Client
  • Honorary grade address
  • ordering party
  • Pre-allocated counterparties

Note: If the Additional Feature is activated and fee note recipients are assigned to a case, an additional field with the corresponding addresses appears.

  • In the field Zusätzliche Adresse can be searched for any further address.
  • In the field Suchbegriff a free text can be entered, which is searched in addresses and interweaving.

The following options can be added:

  • Mutter/Tochter-Strukturen berücksichtigen: If this option is activated, the complete corporate network, consisting of all parent companies and their subsidiaries, is searched.
  • Kontakte berücksichtigen: If this option is activated, a search will also be made for the company’s contacts for each company searched. If a contact is searched, a search will also be made for the company.
  • Abgelehnte Mandate berücksichtigen: If this option is activated, rejected cases will also be included. Otherwise, these cases will not appear in the result.

Now click on the button Konfliktcheck durchführen. The name and aliases of the defined addresses as well as the fields interweaving and interweaving counterparties are searched on all (including inactive) cases. The actual search can only be carried out exactly once per conflict check. If you want to search again, a new conflict check must be created. This will document each conflict check.

View the results of the conflict check

As soon as the first conflict check has been performed, the subfolder on the conflict check Resultate Konfliktcheck created.

For each result, the information found is saved and displayed in different colours. Red means critical, green means non-critical and yellow means that the result still needs to be checked.

Addresses that have been added to the search by contact or parent/subsidiary relationships are marked in the results list with the reference (Contact Related company) or (Contact Related company). If the address was not found on any case, this is also reported.

In addition, a page Result Conflict Check is created on the case and all conflict checks performed on the case are logged.

Accept / reject cases

On the page Mandate opening with conflict check, the case can then be rejected or accepted under Decision. The user, date and time are noted on the page.

Entering interweavings

Interweavings that are relevant for future mandate openings can then be entered.

Both the interweaving and the interweaving of the counterparty (opposing lawyer) can be stored. Enter terms that allow you to identify an interweaving later (e.g. company name).
