• With the feature “Evaluation per teams and skills” in Vertec Resource Planning, you can analyze specifically on the basis of team membership or competence groups.
• You design utilization graphs according to individual criteria such as teams, skills or other categories to make planning transparent and flexible.
• Business benefits can be seen in the rapid identification of bottlenecks, efficient capacity management and adaptive management of your resource allocation.

This is how targeted evaluation works

Definition of workload dimensions for teams and skills

In the settings under Resource Planning > Utilization Dimensions, you create new evaluation dimensions. Each dimension receives a designation that appears as a button in detail views.

• You can define “team” or “skill” as criteria, for example via keyword folders.
• Choose from folder structure, expression logic, or Python classes to group planning data by team, skill group, or individually defined categories.
• The “Show in same class” option allows you to control whether evaluations are visible at both the team and skill levels, for example in team lists.

Interactive evaluation in Resource Planning

Graphical evaluations are available in Resource Planning:

• Usage graphs show bars per time interval that can be segmented by team or skill. Tooltips provide detailed information about each segment.
• This visualization makes it possible to quickly identify free capacities or overloads within teams or competence groups.
• Flexibility through configurable categories makes the evaluation suitable for both strategic and operational planning.

Customization via Python classes (optional logic)

For advanced requirements, you can define a Python class to individually control how segments are calculated and displayed:

• This class can specify which values are shown for each segment, for example, based on team availability or skill priority.
• Based on the implementation in the script module, the evaluation is designed flexibly, supported by methods for initialization, generation and visualization.
