Vertec Release 6.6 is live
We are pleased to announce Vertec version 6.6, our latest major release. At the heart of this release is a completely redesigned Resource Planning. We also have new Vertec lists, which can be extensively customized and expanded. Vertec 6.6 also introduces customizable notifications that notify users of activities such as absence releases or callback requests.
In addition, there are many minor improvements in Vertec and enhancements to the Outlook App.
Resource Planning
The renewed Resource Planning is impressive with increased cloud capability and adaptability. Planning and evaluations can now be completed directly in the cloud clients. In addition, it is possible to show utilization diagrams directly in the Vertec UI.

All planning lists and graphical data can also be exported to Excel at the push of a button.
In addition to the planning options on existing project users, the new Business Object “Planning Worker” can also be used to plan on skills, competencies or features. The “Planning Worker” serves as a placeholder for planning on a skill or not yet defined employees of a team, such as “draftsman”.
Also new are the crosstab tables. They allow easy planning for a specific period of time in a matrix. For example, in the project view of a team, all team members can be displayed in dynamic columns and all projects on which each member is posted can be shown in rows. New Objects can be inserted directly and conveniently using the star line.

Customizable Notifications
With release 6.6, Vertec introduces another new feature – customizable notifications.
These provide information about activities such as absence releases, callback requests or tasks and can be displayed optionally at startup. For example, the additional feature “Absence releases” is added so that team leaders are automatically notified of open absence releases.
Enhancements for lists
To expand the Vertec lists, the new list controllers and custom renderers are available, with which the lists can be configured comprehensively via Python.
For example, embed buttons directly in Vertec lists in order to be able to approve absences with a simple click directly in the list. The list extensions also play a Role in relation to Resource Planning. All planning lists can be edited as usual via the list settings. In addition, lists can be pre-calculated via the list controller and then accessed when viewing them. This significantly increases the performance of complex lists.
