On folders and individual entries, you can open the Properties dialog using the right mouse button or the Actions menu:
The general properties of the dialog are as follows:
Entered on, Changed on / By |
See separate article about change information on entries. |
Internal ID |
This is the unique identification number of this object. It is unique in Vertec. The member or access is via objid (until Vertec 6.2.0.6 boldid ). For more information, see OCL expressions. The internal ID is automatically assigned when the objects are created and it cannot be changed. |
Entry ID |
All objects that Vertec creates by default contain an entry ID. This can be seen clearly in the example above: Vertec provides the public folder by default, but the project was created by the customer. The entry ID is important for translations and when importing config sets. For a detailed description, see using the entry ID. |
Display condition |
Appears only on folders. Available as of Vertec 6.8.0.7. Enables you to specify an OCL expression that controls the visibility of the folder (both in tree and in list).
The display condition is ignored in root folders, because the visibility of the root folders is managed via the usergroups. Important: Visibility is not the same as user rights. You should not use the display condition to hide folders that certain users are not authorized to see. The data is still there and can be found by other means. |
Free reference |
The member or access via OCL is called freeReference and is a string type. The free reference field is available to users. By default, it is not used in Vertec logic. It is used, for example, in migrations to store migration information and is set or read out again via scripts. |
You can find information about the other fields in this dialog in the descriptions of the relevant entry, e.g. the folder.
