When OEV introduced its first business software with Vertec in 2020, the step was a real milestone. Until then, all relevant data and processes had been maintained in Excel and various individual systems and only later manually merged. With Vertec, the company opted for a solution that was not only to bring order to processes and evaluations, but also to unite several specialist areas.
From the beginning, it was clear that the implementation of Vertec would not be a small project. Many departments had their own requirements that had to be taken into account. In addition, teething problems first appeared during individual adjustments.
In spite of these challenges, the vision remained clear: a leading system for the entire economic “figures” was needed. By mid-2025, 123 users are working with Vertec – all on a flexible Cloud Suite. Invoices can now be generated with just a few clicks, data is quickly available, and project managers have an overview at all times.
OEV particularly appreciates the high degree of flexibility that Vertec provides. At the same time, however, the implementation has also shown that one should not go too far beyond standard.
«It is important to meet a good balance in terms of customizing. There is a high chance you benefit a lot from Vertecs flexibility, but you just shouldn't overdo it.»
The easy expandability of the Vertec CRM and ERP software also provides customer benefits: Many components and modules, such as Resource Planning, can be booked and used instantly via the Vertec Customer Portal.
Vertec has replaced the stand-alone solutions at OEV. All data and information are continuously available on a daily basis in just one software environment. Project leaders benefit from quick evaluations and clear overviews, features can be easily adapted internally, while the Vertec Resource Planning module provides additional transparency.
