Vertec’s standard hours Standard hours and employment level feature allows you to define and manage target working hours for employees (full-time & part-time). It ensures that vacation, overtime and absence calculations are automatically performed taking into account the employment level. This creates transparency and reduces administrative hours.

How it works

Definition of standard hours

  • The standard hours specify how many hours a person should work on a working day or week
  • Information can be saved individually per employee or centrally via user groups
  • Changes, e.g. for individual working time models or part-time, can also be flexibly displayed

Relation to presence times

  • Vertec compares automatically entered presence times with the respective saved standard hours
  • Transparent entering of deviations such as overtime or short working hours
  • Daily overview of the actual working time in relation to the contractual agreement

Integration with other features

  • Vacation calculation: The standard hours are the basis for the correct conversion of vacation days into hours, especially in the case of part-time models
  • Absences: sick leave or vacation days are evaluated on the basis of the standard hours and correctly taken into account in evaluations
  • Time tracking: Deviations between recorded services and presence times can be identified to avoid recording discrepancies
