Simple invoice cancellation with proof

Extend Vertec easily. That’s what additional features are all about. Within a few clicks, you can add more functionality to your Vertec installation. New additional features are regularly available for free download in the Knowledge Base. Depending on the feature, they either extend certain basic features or expand the functionality by adding a completely new feature. In any case, this is a free added value for you.

Technically speaking, these are XML files that are imported. Additional features, for example, set up specific folder structures including user rights, evaluations, report templates, scripts and process automations, or implement additional features with additional classes and custom field items.

The additional feature “Create invoice cancellations” simplifies the cancellation of invoices and offers the possibility of generating proof of this as an added value.

Requirements

Loading creates the following objects:

• Class setting invoice
• Script: Cancel invoice in Vertec
• Event-Script: Cancel invoice in Vertec on cancellation
• Advanced Office report Cancellation document

If an invoice has already been charged in Vertec, it can be cancelled after calling up the respective invoice on the page “More Info”. There you click on the button “Cancel invoice in Vertec”. After confirming with “Yes,” you will be asked in the next step in a dialog box whether a cancellation document should be printed as proof of the cancellation. As a further option, you can also cancel invoices without proof. In both cases, after cancellation, all services, expenses, outlays and lump sum phases are separated from the invoice and can subsequently be adjusted as required and charged on a new invoice.

a cancelled invoice is treated in Vertec as a zero invoice. This means that it is set to “Proforma” and marked with the supplement “CANCELLATION” after the invoice number. The cancellation document remains in an activity on the invoice and can be reprinted at any time.

Additional useful: If an invoice is cancelled in a FAR extension, a dialog box asks whether the cancellation should also be done in Vertec at the same time.
