How this feature creates benefits

The feature “Vacation” in Vertec supports you in the management and automatic calculation of vacation periods. It considers individual standard working hours, part-time work and employee entry and exit dates. This makes vacation planning simple and comprehensible. Transparency is created, while administrative workload is significantly reduced. How it works

The vacation calculation is based on the standard working hours and individual annual vacation entitlements of employees saved in Vertec. These parameters form the basis for calculating the vacation credit and the remaining entitlements.

Automatic calculation

Vertec calculates vacation entitlements automatically for each calendar year, taking into account the following factors:

  • Entry and exit date of an employee (calculation pro rata)
  • Part-time factors for adjusting vacation entitlements
  • Deposited standard working hours for the correct allocation of vacation entitlements over working days

Management of vacation credits

The vacation credits are shown in the processor data and are updated continuously. Employee and supervisors thus receive an overview of available remaining vacation days and already taken days at any time.

Integration in absences

The booked vacation days are linked to the absences and automatically deducted from the relevant vacation credit. This creates a consistent and up-to-date overview of all absences and remaining entitlements.
