How this feature creates benefits

The feature “Address Check (Germany)” enables the automatic verification and updating of company addresses via external service providers, enabling duplicates to be detected, missing data to be completed and outdated information corrected.

How it works

Prerequisites

This feature currently supports address checks in Germany. This requires a contract with one of the following providers:

  • Company.info: requires only one API key
  • Legalian: requires API key, username and password

The login data is saved in the system settings in the "addresses" tab.

Address verification in CRM

  • The feature creates the subfolder “Address checks” in the root subfolder CRM under Company
  • User right “Address administrator” required

Test criteria

The following data will be checked and, if necessary, enhanced:

  • Name, address, ZIP code, city, country, commercial registration number
  • Additionally with Company.info: phone number, email address, website
  • Search results provide status messages
  • Deviations can be checked by the user, applied or manually excluded for future verifications

Status management

  • Status displayed with different colors
  • Individual addresses are saved in the Keywords area
  • Deletion or re-checking of the status via the feature “Reset address verification” possible

Automated verifications

  • Regular, automatic checks can optionally be performed with a scheduled task (additional costs with the respective service provider may occur)

Yes, this is possible. If, for example, several departments in your customer's company receive invoices from you, you may allocate different invoice addresses.

In Vertec, you can create and filter keywords. For example, if you create a keyword for newsletters or Christmas cards, you can tag people with it and add them to these mailing lists by drag-and-drop. Afterwards, all contacts tagged with the keyword can be exported from Vertec as an address list.

Yes, you can use an existing Excel template to import customer data such as address and telephone numbers from your previous program or address book into Vertec (see also Address Import). Alternatively, individual address migrations from existing databases are also possible.
