How charging fixed prices creates benefits
The charged fixed price allows you to specify a fixed fixed amount for a project or a project phase, regardless of the real hours such as services, expenses or outlays.
- Provide services with an amount of your choice – this will be shown invoiced as a lump sum fixed amount on the invoice.
- Charging fixed prices promotes budget management and planning security for projects.
- If the fixed amount is removed, Vertec will automatically calculate the total of the services included.
How charging fixed prices works
In Vertec, you can manually enter fixed amount lump sum for a project or a project phase under Services > Billedcharge This amount will then be displayed as a lump sum on fixed amount invoice shown with the note “Lump sum”Fixed amount If you remove it, the actual effort will be calculated again from hours entered servicesservices
Economic benefits
Charging fixed prices provides clarity for both you as a provider and your customers about the amounts to be invoiced. It facilitates budget control and avoids discussions about variable volumes of service – especially in clearly defined phases.
How it works in detail
- For services, enter a fixed amount under “Charged”.
- This amount will appear on the invoice in green with the reference “fixed amount”.
- As soon as you delete the fixed amount, the normal calculation takes effect again by adding all defined services, expenses and outlays.

Can I create multiple invoice addresses in Vertec?
Yes, this is possible. If, for example, several departments in your customer's company receive invoices from you, you may allocate different invoice addresses.
Can invoices be sent by email?
Vertec can be configured with individual text templates for emails. Invoices are attached as PDF files.
Can invoices of suppliers be charged on to several customers or projects?
Yes, you can decide whether the invoice is either charged or forwarded directly.
What options does Vertec offer for invoicing?
Using Vertec, services can be charged according to various recording options.
- Billing by time
- Settlement of lump sums
- RVG calculation (Germany)
- Caps (reduced quotas)
Also, helpful is the splitting of invoices, within which the total of an invoice is distributed over several recipients. As for e-billing, Vertec works with the LEDES and XRechnung (Germany) formats.
Can I store mails directly in Vertec via Outlook?
Yes, with the Vertec Outlook AppOutlook App, you can assign mails directly to projects or contacts. These are linked in Vertec and automatically saved in the document storage. With the full text search, emails stored in Vertec can be searched by all authorized persons.
How does the transfer of invoice data to the FAR work?
