Keep an eye on deadlines and deadlines
With the deadline calculator, you can calculate deadlines quickly and taking into account legal settings and regional holidays. The additional feature helps you to determine deadlines reliably and to apply the calculated deadline directly in an activity.
The Deadline Calculator is an additional feature for Vertec that allows you to conveniently calculate deadlines. Weekend, public holidays and country-specific regulations are automatically taken into account. For Germany and Switzerland, adapted variants are available, which differ in the used public holidays and the legal calculation rules.
After importing the additional feature, the folder “Settings Deadline Calculator” is created in the project settings, where the public holidays of the selected country are automatically provided.

The deadline is calculated directly from an existing activity. The action deadline opens the calculation dialog and defines the desired parameters.

After the calculation, Vertec displays the start of the deadline and the calculated end of the deadline. The input values can be adjusted at any time and the calculation can be performed again.
If the result meets your requirements, you can apply the calculated date directly to the activity. This way, the deadline is entered in Vertec without manual date calculation.
You can create tasks for yourself or other employees directly in Vertec and link them to internal projects, for example. A deadline can be created for each task or the task can be created as recurring.
In day-to-day business, the efficient management of follow-ups and appointments is essential. Outlook tasks, calendar entries or project management tools are only recommended to a minimum. Task and follow-ups are not visible to all users. The complete history of a project or case is also not visible.
With Vertec, you can work much more globally. You can quickly and easily capture, enter and track your activities, follow-ups and appointments. You can also see at a glance whether an assigned task has already been completed.
When you log in to Vertec, you can be alerted to appointments or deadlines via a pop-up. In addition to your own appointments, team leaders can also search and view the open tasks of their own team. For certain events, an automatic email can be sent to the responsible users. This way, everyone keeps an overview.
