How the email overview creates benefits
With the function Outlook emails in the activity feed, you can see all relevant emails that belong to your contacts, companies or projects directly in Vertec. This way, you can always keep an overview of the communication and can quickly find messages. The display is powerful, clear and offers direct access to emails, attachments and linked objects.

How it works
The activity feed shows emails from Outlook that are assigned to a specific address (company, contact or person) in Vertec. Each activity is shown with an appropriate icon, date and time, which improves the visibility. The list loads 20 entries at first, and more activities appear automatically when scrolling.
Navigation and display
Use the up and down arrow keys to easily switch between activities. If necessary, Vertec automatically loads all relevant entries up to the current selected email. Linked Objects such as companies, contacts or projects are displayed as links that can be opened directly in the desired Vertec app.
Displayed activities
Depending on the address type, different activities are shown:
- All addresses: Activities where the address is assigned as a contact or another entry.
- Projects: Activities whose assigned project belongs to the address.
- Companies: In addition, activities of contacts assigned to the company.
Manage emails in Vertec
Clicking on the email link opens the activity in Vertec, with the subject, content, and other fields automatically populated. The detailed view of an email also displays images, emojis, and all attachments faithfully.
Working with attachments
You can open or save individual attachments directly. With internal document storage, attachments can also be saved directly as a new activity.
Open email directly in Outlook
Click the Actions > Open Email button to start Outlook with the selected message. The Web App downloads an .eml file, which can then be opened in Outlook.

Can I access the customer history to see always the latest status?
If you update your customer history in Vertec, you can view it at any time. The history is filterable and is displayed either in an entire list or as a cluster of activities such as emails or phone calls. We call this the activity feed. Full-text search allows all authorized persons to search content stored in Vertec, including emails. With the Outlook AppOutlook App, you can see the activity feed of a contact directly in Outlook.
Can I save visit reports in the system and link them to following tasks?
You can document your appointments in Vertec. To do this, create activities and assign them to a project, a company or a contact. If necessary, you can create tasks with a due date and a responsible user.
Can I save emails in Vertec?
With the Vertec Outlook App emails can easily be saved in Vertec. If you use an email client other than Outlook, you can use the OfficeConnector to save emails in Vertec.
Can I store mails directly in Vertec via Outlook?
Yes, with the Vertec Outlook AppOutlook App, you can assign mails directly to projects or contacts. These are linked in Vertec and automatically saved in the document storage. With the full text search, emails stored in Vertec can be searched by all authorized persons.
