Vertec looks back on a successful business year
Zurich, 3 March 2015 – Last year, Vertec specialists clicked on newly-installed Vertec icons on average once a week, putting Vertec software into operation for new customers. There are now over 650 companies for a total of about 15,000 users working with Vertec's integrated software for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
Increased presence in Germany
Also Germany counts several new customers. "In 2014 we doubled our growth in Germany, which confirms the vast demand for our industry solutions in Germany", says Tobias Wielki, CEO of the Hamburg branch office opened in 2012. Vertec reckons with a further growth of its customer base in Germany in 2015 and therefore has decided to enlarge its German team.
New software generation
In 2014, software developers at Zurich headquarters have worked intensely on a new generation of Vertec's software. Vertec 6.0 combines the program's customary strengths with the advantages of a cloud-based software architecture. Vertec's time-proven business logic remains a constant, while in future access to all programs will be possible on different devices via apps, independently from the user's location. "With our new software generation we meet the requirements of modern professional services companies without cutting back on functionality and on backward compatibility", says CEO Claudio Pietra. Vertec will continue to offer its numerous possibilities – and even new ones – of tailoring the software to the customer's requirements: a new feature allows single view mode of entries to be parametrized according to the customer's needs. Pietra estimates the new Vertec release to be ready by mid 2015.
Confident outlook for 2015
In the past year Vertec Group placed greater focus on its core target group, i.e. the project and mandate-oriented professional services companies in the areas of engineering, software engineering, IT services, fiduciaries, law firms and consulting. Thanks to this, Vertec has a confident outlook for the current year despite the difficult general economic framework. "An effective business software saves time and optimizes business processes – without any disadvantages for the workers", says Urs Berli, Head of Marketing and Sales at Vertec.
